Looking Back
This morning I happened across an excellent site containing archival television shows from the 50s, 60s, and following. Those who remember television during these times will love this. Check it out at the Museum of Broacast Communications. There is a lot of written archival material but streaming video as well. You’ll be reminded of how simple television was back then. Watch the video feeds of the 1960 Kennedy/Nixon debate and see first hand why this was the death knell for Nixon’s election hopes in 1960. Take some time to watch the news reports of Kennedy’s assasination. This was a remarkable time.
“Like Television” is another site that offers free streaming video (with ads). Wild stuff (I dare you to watch ‘Dementia 13′ in the dark.).
